Location. The Tholos Resort Hotel is perched on a volcanic cliff at Imerovigli, on the Greek island of Santorini. The capital of the island, Fira, is within one and a half kilometres and the beach is four kilometres away. Hotel Features. The two storey hotel is built in traditional Cycladic style and is set in the awesome surroundings of the Caldera. Guests can take in the view of the sparkling Aegean Sea and submerged volcano while sipping a drink at the poolside bar. There is complimentary parking nearby. A complimentary continental or American style breakfast is served at the Tholos Resort, either on the guestroom balconies or by the swimming pool. Guestrooms. The hotel's 12 whitewashed studios and apartments are simply decorated with wooden furniture. All rooms have balconies and air conditioning, and bathrooms have jetted tubs, bathrobes, hair dryers and makeup mirrors. There is complimentary Internet access and satellite television in all the rooms, which are cleaned daily. The studios are equipped with kitchenettes complete with cookware and refrigerators. Expert Tip. The enormous rock in front of Imerovigli, called Skaros, was part of the main island until 1800. It now makes for a dramatic scene at sunset
